«Lower St. Lawrence - Who is coming, who is leaving and why»
On Saturday, April 18th, you are invited to a conference with Michel Hébert. His job has many components and his background is extensive and varied. And hey, he is keen to practice his English! Mr. Hébert spends a lot of time on the road and works at marketing the Lower St. Lawrence. He will tell us who the people are in our neighbourhood as far as new Rimouskois go. Michel Hébert, from the Conférence Régionale des élues du Bas Saint Laurent will tell us about the great things in Rimouski and the Lower St. Lawrence, who is deciding to come and settle in the Rimouski region and perhaps why some are choosing to leave. Are they immigrants, other Quebecers, Canadians? And what are the challenges here: who is staying, who is leaving and why.

We want people to come and listen but also to tell their stories of when they arrived in Rimouski, even if it was 20 years ago, or like myself, 8 years ago. Please come and share in this discussion and bring anyone who may have a story to tell or simply pass on some advice to Mr. Hébert as he continues in his job of selling our region.
